Soulection Mexico Showcases
2016 -2017

  • Creative and production work for two consecutive Soulection showcases in Guadalajara, building the full visual identity and event experience from the ground up.

    Scope of work:

    – Visual branding and design system for both editions

    – Motion teaser and promo assets for digital rollout

    – Event production and on-site creative coordination

    – Video capture and post-event recap edits

    – Multi-format content for social and media partners

Each year, the visual concept evolved to reflect Soulection’s energy — a blend of global rhythm, future beats, and community. We focused on clean typography, kinetic motion, and warm color palettes to create a cohesive design language that translated across print, digital and video.

Kaytranada
2015

  • A full-scope creative project for Kaytranada’s first show in Guadalajara. We handled everything from early branding to post-event documentation — shaping the visual and experiential identity of the night.

    Scope of work:

    – Event branding and promotional graphics

    – Motion teaser for pre-event rollout

    – Visual direction across all digital formats

    – Video capture and post-show recap edit

    – Full event production and creative coordination

The visual language combined warm gradients, bold type and rhythmic motion inspired by Kaytranada’s signature sound — blending analog textures with digital fluency to reflect both the intimacy and energy of the set.

A collage of four images featuring graphic patterns, a young man in a black sweater with arms crossed, a person with a red headscarf and sunglasses in a convertible car, and bold red text reading 'KAYTRANADA' on a black background.

Neon Indian
2015

  • A project built around atmosphere, texture and nostalgia.

For Neon Indian’s Guadalajara show, we crafted a visual identity that leaned into analog imperfection and digital haze — echoing the artist’s synth-heavy, dream-pop aesthetic. From the early rollout to the night-of recap, everything was designed to feel like part of the same warped memory.

    What we did:

    • Graphic design inspired by VHS-era palettes and distorted type

    • Teaser video with glitch animations and lo-fi textures

    • Artist Booking

    • Social media assets with cohesive look and tone

This wasn’t just promotion. It was a designed experience that felt as layered and unpredictable as the sound itself.

Erlend Øye & Kakkmaddafakka
2014

  • An early milestone in shaping the live music scene in Guadalajara.

For this special edition of nørdika, we brought together Erlend Øye and Kakkmaddafakka for a night that felt like it belonged somewhere between a beach party and a European club.

    What we handled:

    • Visual identity and graphic design for promo rollout

    • Teaser video with playful motion and color blocking

    • Format-adapted content for digital platforms

Looking back, it marked the beginning of a design language we kept refining in the years to come.

Claptone

Claptone
2015

  • An immersive experience built around mystery, rhythm and gold.

For Claptone’s show in Guadalajara, we designed a world that matched his sonic identity: masked, refined, and hypnotic. From the visual rollout to the night-of visuals and recap, everything was crafted to feel part of a secret ritual.

    Work delivered:

    • Event identity and print/digital design

    • Motion teaser with baroque-inspired transitions and textures

    • Artist booking

    • Modular content adapted for social media formats

This project was less about the artist and more about the atmosphere. We treated it as a one-night-only brand — ephemeral but cohesive, elegant but built to move.
